Fargo South High teacher resigns over allegations of improper language

As usual, the education cabal is allowed to sweep things under the rug and pretend it never happened. The media does their usual yawn.Angry

FARGO – A Fargo South High School math teacher resigned last week after being accused of using improper language with students.

Timothy Dockter resigned effective April 5 after being approached by administrators about the allegations, School District spokesman Lowell Wolff said today.

Wolff said he did not know the nature of the language Dockter allegedly used, and because of the resignation, no further investigation took place.

“He may have resigned for totally unrelated reasons. We don’t know,” Wolff said. “It really didn’t get enough traction to trigger any kind of investigation.”

Dockter had been with the district since 1994, Wolff said.

In your summary, if you swapped out “The media” for “Anyone without an irrational hatred of educated professionals”, you’d be a lot closer to it. It’s worth a mention (which it got), but not much else. Keep grinding that axe, though… it makes you sound super smart!

So you’re mad that the schools (which you usually whine about wasting money) are choosing to save themselves the headache of an investigation related to an improper, yet very minor, incident and have the guy resign instead?

Seems to me like this is the most fiscally responsible move. Why waste resources investigating a guy who’s already gone?

Dockter was always an asshole to kids, but then he dealt mostly with remedial students and that’s no easy job. I had him for a programming class and we got along pretty well. Mostly because I was just a smartass and always got my work done.

    Humm,
“improper language.” Math teacher for juniors and seniors. I’ve heard some very colorful or improper language from older teens myself. Wonder what he said that 17 and 18 year old students have not alread said themselves?

Andrew, do you think his “improper language” influenced you and your classmates, — given the choice of words I see you have posted for the world to see — or perhaps all of you students have influenced him?

If he was skilled in high school math and computer programing it seems a shame to loose that skill for a few words that the students most likely already knew. As I understand it, its tough to find people skilled in math that are willing to take the “improper word” that goes with teaching a group of young adults that are not motivated to learn.

    Alas,
