ND farmers deserve better than House farm bill stall
By: Sen. Kent Conrad
As the days tick away before we elect a new president and a new Congress, and re-establish our national priorities, I am disappointed by a lack of progress made by this Congress on some of the issues most important to the American people.Chiefly, it now appears that Congress will fail to deliver a farm bill to support our nation’s agriculture producers, rural communities and the least fortunate among us. As the Senate passed a bill on an overwhelming bipartisan basis, the fault for inaction falls squarely at the feet of the House of Representatives.

Kev!!!!!!!!! If ONE senator could have so much power, why hasn’t ND’s moustache senator done it?
Surely you don’t believe he’s a Republican.
Grandma I am a FARMER ! I am the guy Sen Conrad has been fighting for . as a farmer I ( shocker ! ) know many many other farmers , ALL of them have the utmost respect for Conrad and what he has done for us!
Mr Flanagen holds Conrad ,and me in the utmost contempt . mostly out of pure bitterness and a selfish view of the world . The state is as strong and vibrant as it is because of folks like me , NOT because of the greedy” Me for myself and myself only” types like Kev!
95% of NDakota farmers have accepted and earned those subsidies he has cast us as so villianous for getting.
Last month on a blog he showed his appalling ignorance by claiming he had no loyality or respect for farmers ( ME) because he ‘ gets his groceries at the store’!
Watch him get pissed for reminding everyone here of that!
I got a challange for you Kev. if you truly beleive all the sh*t you put out here . There is a farm gathering there in Fargo early next month. It is called ” Big Iron’ . It aint far for you to go just West Fargo ,a few blocks from your Fargo basement. I will meet you there and debate you. C’mon ! I would like you to tell all the farmers there what SLACKERS we are!
You can stop and pick up some groceries on the way there !
I can’t afford the fuel to drive that far thanks to the ethanol scammers.
My dear boy, how can it be that such an avowed capitalist can’t afford to fill a gas tank?
Obama declared war on us years ago.
See what I mean ! Cowardice is his only virtue!
