Letter: Time for Omdahl to hang it up
By: Marvin Dunn, Carrington, N.D.
I couldn’t believe the utter nonsense in Lloyd Omdahl’s Aug. 27 opinion column regarding the 90 million people who will not vote in this election. He basically marginalizes anyone who’s smart enough to realize that both political parties are corrupt. He does this by claiming they’re uneducated people with low income. In other words, the “trailer park trash” of society. At the same time, he basically tries to justify our do-nothing government and corrupt politicians as “that’s just the way it is.”

He ends his column with the ridiculous statement, “There may be hope with a better-educated generation.” Or, in other words, better- brainwashed generation.

Mr. Omdahl, you’ve hung up your political shoes. And you’ve hung up your teaching shoes. It’s time to hang up your writing shoes. Your stodgy, old-style political views are a thing of the past.

a recent report has the average American unable to think of one supreme court justice. the survey had 80% only able to come up with one . about only 2% able to name them all. ( I can usually name 7-8 of them) .There is example after example of how DUMB the average American is. Don’t like the messenger of those examples then don’t blame him! Omdahl always pisses off those who can’t handle the truth. It ain’t his fault.
Look at how the ignorant doofus has characterized Omdahl for having the audacity to to point out how dumb the average American has become- you guys call him a’ pointy head!!!!
