Lenny can drive his car on his own land without insurance. He can also choose to not own a car. Motor laws are state laws and have nothing to do with the US constitution.

Letter: Health insurance critics are wrong

In regard to Herman Winkels’ response to my letter on Dec. 7:
I believe I’m required to purchase car insurance to drive my car. Was that done by the Congress and the president or the state of North Dakota? Who is forcing me to buy car insurance and where is that in the constitution? Where is your logic?
